Borecka Scope and Content of Collection Contains selected papers of Bernard Mark (1908–1966), a historian of Poland, publicist, communist activist, and director of the Jewish Historical Institute (JHI) from 1949 to 1966. Part I includes materials related to Marks’ career; the Part II, less organized, includes notes made during his archival activity, copies of documents, and some personal materials. There are also photographs and posthumous materials such as memoirs, obituaries, and condolences.
