Admission and Registration Information ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Classes are open to adults 18 years of age or older. High school students who meet the criteria and who are referred by their high school counselors may enroll in selected classes under the terms of concurrent enrollment.
REGISTRATION OPTIONS FOR COMPUTER CLASSES
Students may mail in their registration using the form below, register by secure website at http://ras.rjuhsd.us or in person at Roseville Adult School. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
FEE AND REFUND POLICY
There are no fees for computer, ESL, Citizenship or High School Diploma classes. Refunds for fee classes are available ONLY in the event your class is canceled by Roseville Adult School. Since classes are determined by pre-registration, early enrollment is strongly advised. *Please see page 5 for the separate refund policy for CTE classes.

High School Completion Program High School completion students may receive credit for previous high school, adult school and completion of the GED test with specific scores. RAS students use independent study to complete course requirements. A cap and gown graduation ceremony for graduates will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
COUNSELING SERVICES All students entering classes leading to high school diploma must meet with a counselor for transcript evaluation and to determine appropriate classes. Students should bring a copy of their high school transcripts to the meeting if they have one. Daytime counseling is available on Mondays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm year round; evening counseling is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm during the school year. For additional times or dates, please call for an appointment at 916-782-3952 ext. 1703.
HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION Adults may complete requirements for a high school diploma through classroom or independent study options. Independent study students have an appointment to meet with an instructor one hour per week or more, as needed, and complete assignments at home. Courses are offered that fulfill graduation requirements, including elective classes. A $60 refundable book deposit is required at the first meeting with the instructor.

High School Equivalency Testing & Preparation Roseville Adult School is an authorized Testing Center and offers both the HiSet and GED in a computer based format. The HiSet and GED Certificates are deemed by Cali-fornia law to be the equivalent of a High School diploma for purposes of employment and are recognized nationally. Registration, including test times, dates and registration instructions, are done online at www.GED.com. Special accommodations are available for testers with qualifying physical and learning disabilities, and must be requested when registering online for the test. The official GED test is offered in both English and Spanish. There is no on-site registration at Roseville Adult School. Career Technical Education
*Refund/Drop policy for CTE classes: You may request a full refund up to 8 days before the class start date. There is a $10.00 processing fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. In the final 7 days before the class start date you may receive a credit of the full amount paid to be used towards a future class at Roseville Adult School. Lab and material fees are not eligible for refund or credit. Refund requests made after the class has started are not eligible for refunds. Roseville Adult School or healthcare partner reserves the right to dis-enroll any student from a clinical externship or classroom who is not acting in a professional manner or making suffi-cient progress. Removal for attendance, behavior, or lack of academic progress from the program may result in loss of tuition fees up to the full amount.

Roseville Adult School - Class of 2018 Roseville Adult School sent 30 High School Graduates into the world on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at its annual ceremony at the Patti Baker Theater. The ceremony was attended by Board Members and included personalized speeches for each graduate. Roseville Adult School has come a long way since it first opened in 1921. At that time, local railroad workers were taught wireless code. Now, we are teaching a Clinical Medical Assisting class, ESL, Citizenship, High School Completion and Parent Education Classes to name just a few of our highly sought after programs.
