B O O T H A N D T A B L E E X H I B I T I N F O R M A T I O N• Booth space consists of one 10 ft. wide x 6 ft. deep exhibitspace. Tabletop space consists of one 6 ft. wide x 6 ft. deepspace.
• One 6 ft. draped table, 2 chairs, ID signage, and wastebasketwill be provided at each tabletop and booth space. Pleasenote: only 10 ft. wide x 6 ft. deep booths are permitted. Boothsand poster displays are not permitted to block other exhibitors.
• Exhibit space set-up is scheduled for Saturday, September 13,from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.
• Exhibit tear-down is scheduled for Tuesday, October 16, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
• Electricity will be provided through the Disneyland Hotel at anadditional charge. Exhibit packets will be emailed within threeweeks prior to the conference. Shipping logistics handledthrough the Disneyland Hotel.

The Mission of APA California: Making great communitieshappen through good planning.
Towards that end APA California will:

This mission statement has no horizon year; rather, it is to beused as a broad guideline for decisions concerning the morespecific strategic objectives, master strategies and actionprograms.

The mission statement reflects the underlying, fundamentalbeliefs of APA California’s board members, who represent thebreadth and geographic diversity of planning in California.These values include:
• Vision: The creativity and foresight needed to anticipatefuture needs of our membership and profession, thendevelop a consensus-building strategy that addresses thoseneeds.
• Leadership: The ability to organize and command theresources necessary to implement our vision. Critical to theconcept of leadership is the balancing of competing needsand interests in a manner that consistently provides thegreatest good for the greatest number of our members.
• Diversity: The expansion in the development of itsleadership and its membership of both ethnic and genderdiversity within the Chapter.
• Support: The development, nurturing and preservation of agrass-roots constituency, both in the profession and in thelarger community, that recognizes, accepts and advocatesthe values of good community, regional and other planningprograms. The Chapter’s commitment to a broad publicrelations strategy is an example of this support strategy indevelopment.
• Tools, Services and Support: A commitment at everylevel of the organization to offer our members the tools,services and support to achieve their goals. These includeregular membership services such as: a) the newsletter; b)legislative initiatives; c) participation on task forces and localreview committees; d) recognition and advancement of ourprofessional goals through comprehensive awardsprograms; e) a variety of continuing education programs tofoster professional growth; f) annual conferences foreducation and networking; and g) a variety of locallysponsored and produced programs in each of California’seight sections that respond quickly and effectively to memberneeds at the local level.
