Lycosidae Lycosa obscuroides Dark Wolf Spider Female with egg sac Two species of Wolf Spider are predators of Cane Toads: Lycosa lapidosa – takes small toads Lycosa obscuroides – has been noted biting and killing a large Toad within one hour.

Nephilidae Nephila edulis Golden Orb Web Spider Female – topside and underside Web is made of gold coloured silk.
