CREW EDU� Goal: Provide mentorship

opportunities to younger members� In order to: Give younger members a

chance to learn from our CREW industry experts while providing senior members away to stay involved in the organization

� Strategies include:� Utilize a new format of site tours, with

representatives from the development,legal, brokerage, design, constructionand public sector teams explaining everyaspect of the project development.

� Select three projects and tour dates, establish the teaching teams and curriculum, issue outline with essentialproject information to attendees prior toeach session, and advertise program

ad hoc issues

� Goal: Offer exposure, marketing,publicity and visibility opportunitieswithin CREW DC for organizations in our local commercial real estateindustry.

� In order to: Raise money for our organization in exchange for publicity andaffiliation with local CREW DC.

� Strategies include:� Develop and implement the annual

Sponsorship Campaign.� Encourage and solicit CREW members to

become involved in the SponsorshipCampaign.

� Promote sponsorship of regular programsand other CREW events.

� Goal: Provide outstanding and cutting edge programs of interest tothe real estate community

charismatic speakers� Ensure a satisfying experience for all

attendees

� Goal: Encourage more women tochoose commercial real estate as acareer by selecting, planning and implementing programs at the chapter level, including fundraisingactivities for the CREW Foundationand CREW Network Scholarship Fund

� In order to: Educate female students aboutopportunities in commercial real estate, andto introduce them to networking opportunitiesavailable through CREW as student members

� Strategies include:� Provide on-site UCREW programs at col-

lege and graduate school campuses to introduce students to the career opportunities in commercial real estate

� Provide formal and informal mentoringopportunities between existing CREW DCmembers and students or recent graduates

� Provide information about the CREWFoundation Scholarship Program and internship opportunities

� Provide information about student memberships within CREW DC and otherchapters in their home cities

� Raise funds for the Scholarship Fund andselected other CREW Foundation initiatives through chapter events

� Goal: Provide education, information and services for ourmembers to enhance the benefits of membership

� In order to: Organize programs of interest to CREW members and the commercial real estate industry. Create opportunities to educate CREW membersabout CREW resources, locally and nationally

� Strategies include:� Create networking opportunities

fostering meaningful interaction forCREW members

� Enhance career development opportunities for CREW members

� Provide job search resources, includingmaintaining job postings within a jobbank

� Plan diverse panel discussions androundtables, including members ofCREW, as well as non-members

� Develop networking events for membersonly to showcase the benefits of membership and generate opportunitiesfor our members to interact in a more intimate setting

� Welcome new members into CREW

SPECIAL EVENTS

� Goal: Coordinate the CNCC Golf program and the CREW DC AnnualAwards reception

� In order to: Provide women with the opportunity to learn and play golf in a stress-free atmosphere; Promote and recognize achievements of women in commercial realestate.

� Strategies include:� Plan and execute a “kickoff event” for the

golf program� Offer golf lessons for CREW members at

locations in DC, MD and VA� Plan and hold annual golf outing� Plan and coordinate annual real estate

awards program� Raise funds for golf outing and awards

program through corporate sponsorships� With the assistance of the Communications

Committee, publicize all of the events togenerate interest and participation

� Strategies include:� Obtain publicity for all programs - lunch

programs, networking programs, golfprogram and annual awards

� Manage the CREW DC website� Publicize/report on business

opportunities and networking storiesamong our members

� Publicize our members who are in thenews

� Obtain articles written by our members� Identify issues, organizations and

developments in DC that our membersneed to be aware of or participate in
