• Schools will define bullying: SHPS is committed to creating a safe, caring, respectful educational environment

• Procedures- prevention/intervention techniques

• Staff development- to prevent bullying of all members of the school. Staff will implement the bullying prevention and intervention plan

• Parent /guardian education- bullying prevention plan at each school. Reinforce supporting the districts intervention/prevention

School District Procedures

• School District- will provide appropriate terms in prevalent languages. Annual written notice of bullying prevention plan in the student handbook

The bullying prevention plan will:

-Be Implemented in each school building

-Be reinforced by school personal to support a bullying prevention plan that provides appropriate terms and prevalent language.

-Have an annual written notice of a bullying prevention plan in the student handbook.
