Syllabus:a) For class IX & X marks weightage to the syllabus units (Chapters) may be
assigned proportionally based on course structure given in CBSE curriculum 2019-20 so as to have total 80 marks.
b) The syllabus for all classes IX & X may be divided as follows: S1: Periodic Test (PT-1): 30% of total syllabus (Chapters taught from April to July) S2: Periodic Test (PT-2): 50% of total syllabus (Chapters taught from April to August) S3: Periodic Test (PT-3): 80% of total syllabus (Chapters taught from April to December)S4: Annual Exam: 100% of total syllabus (Chapters taught from April to Feb)

Details of Internal Assessment for 2019-20. Total marks for internal Assessment=20 marks
1. Periodic Tests-5marks (Marks of all three PTs will be converted to 5 by taking the average of best two PTs)
2. Multiple Assessment -5marks (this includes average of fortnightly tests + other forms of assessment done by teacher converted into 5 marks)
3. Portfolios-5marks (this includes Note Books, files, Summer Holiday HW etc., converted into 5 marks)
4. Subject Enrichment-5 marks (Practical/projects/map work etc., converted into 5 marks)
Information Technology: Theory=40 marks and practical =60 marks. There will be no periodic tests for Information Technology.
