2 Minute Bronze Smokey Eye Tutorial
I thought I’d show you very quick go to bronze smokey eye. Here you go!
1. Prime you eyes.
2. Apply a wash of soft brown eyeshadow all over the lid.
3. Trace your upper lash line with black eye kohl. Get as close to the lashes as you
can.
4. Blend the kohl with a fluffy brush.
5. pat bronze eyeshadow all over the lid.
6. soften the edges with a fluffy brush. Get the color above the crease. Don’t pick
more, just diffuse the edges of whatever you have applied.
7. apply the same bronze eyeshadow on the lower lash line. Stop at 2/3rd.
8. apply shimmery highlighter on your brow bone and inner corner of the eye.
9. line your waterline and upper lash line with a black kohl.This would create the
smokey effect.
10. Smudge the black kohl on the lower lash line.
11. also smudge it on upper lash line.
12. Curl lashes and apply mascara
you are done!!
It may look like a lot of steps but once you get a hang of it, it gets done within 2
minutes.

Products used : MAC eyeshadows in bronze, soft brown and ricepaper, mac smoker
kohl. maybelline colossal mascara.

This is a very simple smokey eye look I learnt from an Inglot makeup artist. I love
this specific smokey eye look. It is messy, simple, smudged , takes no time, and
great for both day or evening time.
Search IMBB
Start by priming your eye lids.
Take a dark brown eyeshadow using MAC 217 brush and apply it all over the lid. Go,
past the crease.
Now take a black eye kohl pencil and rim it on your upper lash line, lower lash liner
and water line. you don’t have to be perfect in lining.
Take a clean pointy brush such as 219 and smudge the eye kohl .
you can smudge with a flat brush as well.
Now make a small v right on the corner of yoru eye lid with the black kohl.
Smudge and blend the outer V by moving your brush inwards until there are no
harsh lines to be seen and it looks all blended.
Now take a dark chocolate brown eyeshadow and apply right on top of the black eye
kohl. this will not only set your kohl and prevent it from moving but would also
create that duo chrome eyeshadow look.
Apply some compact powder on the brow bone.
Curl lashes and apply mascara
you can apply light gold eye shadow or matte peach eyeshadow just on the inner
corner of your eye so that your eyes don’t look too closed.And you are done!
Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

This is a Classic Black Smokey Eye Makeup TutorialThere is just one color used for this smokey look- black.
Smokey Eye
Start with priming your eye lid. Apply primer all the way up till the brow.
MAC Painterly paint pot all over the lid
Apply primer on lower lash line.
Give a wash of loose powder all over the lid.
This will help blend shadows.
The Body SHop Loose Powder on lid
Now take a black gel eye liner on a concealer brush. You can also use a kajal . I find gel liner easy to work with.
Trace the eye liner all around your lid. Draw and outer V and the move inward..
All the way toward the inside of the eye lid.
Trace gel liner on the lid
Start filling in your eye lid area. Move the brush outward and downward. This will prevent streaks.
Fill in gel liner
Get your eye liner closest to the eye lashes.
Fill in gel liner
With the same brush, start softening the eye liner edges. Start from the center …
Smudge to the top lines
then move inward and outward. Your smokey eye has started to build up.
This is how it should look. A little smokey toward the top.
Gel liner smudged
Now pick up black e/s.
Start pressing the black e/s all over the lid.
Pat the black eyeshadow on lids
Time to create smokey effect. Pick up black e/s just on the tip of blending brush.
While blending, place your brush right below the arch of your eye brow. Then move left and right from that point.
Brush Placement
Little by little start moving your brush in small circles. You don’t want to on increase the intensity of black , you
just want to create the smokey look. So don’t pick up too much colour .
Smoke Out
Go inward and outward.
Now pick up a highlight colour.Place the highlight shadow just below your brow arch.
Go all the way in ..

and out of your brow bone area.

Blend in the highlighter in the smokey black effect you just created to soften the sharp edges and blend the eye shadows together.
Merge in black
Pick up black eye shadow on a pencil brush.
Place it right on the outer corner of lower lash line.
Move inward and stop after lining two third of eye. You can go all the way in to create gothic black smokey eye. I prefer it this way.
Apply kajal or black eye liner on waterline.

Smudge it with ring finger.
Curl eye lashes and apply mascara.
Now pick up highlight colour with a pointy brush.
Apply it on the inner corner of eye.
There you have simple black smokey eye.

Purple Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

Hello Sweta, As you mentioned that you have oily skin and have brown eyes I
created a purple smokey eye look for you to wear on your cousin’s engagement… As
mentioned you’ll be wearing a Mustard colored dress so to add a little oomph I
would suggest you to wear purple or plum eye shadow as it will complement your
mustard dress. Your eyes are really pretty and big, and I even noticed the way to
apply liner/kajal, so if I was at your place I would have done the following look.
Please give a frank feedback, i’l not mind if you are not comfortable wearing this…
Lets begin…
1. Main step is to prime your lids as it will give you a even canvas to start of…
I am using Oriflame Dual skin corrector concealer… you have oily lids so try using
something oil free and that doesn’t crease so that you can enjoy the fuction without
worrying about your eyeshadow creasing.
2. Now roughly apply a black liner on you lids, near to your lashline as shown in the
pic…. Quickly blend the liner before it dries up as you don’t want to be harsh on your
lids.
I used Avon Kohl liner in Black.
3. Apply a black eyeshadow on the lower part of your lids, doing so will give a
smokey effect to the look.
I used Incolor black eyeshadow
4. Now apply a plum shade on your entire lid, do not proceed above the crease.
I used Star Plum eyeshadow by Oriflame
5. Now taking pink eyeshadow on your brush start blending the plum and pink
together.
I used a cheap Matte eyeshadow (cnt remember its name)
6. Now use your compact powder and apply it under your brow to soften the pink
I used Vision Silky pressed powder light shade
7. Highlight your brow bone concentrating more on the Arch of the brow.
8. Now line your upper and lower lashes like u usually do, curl lashes and add
Mascara
For waterline I used VLCC kohl liner
9. Blend the outer corner where your upper and lower liner meet, the encircled area
in the pic..
You can see the difference !!!
Products Used:
Use a light pink blush with highlight on apple of your cheeks and a soft plumish or
pinkish lippie !!

Cali I think it might be nice…I tried purple eyeshadow once at a counter and I
thought it looked quite okay..I mean, I thought I would look straight out of
some comic page…but it looked prettyish only..not bizarre at all…which is
good enough for me. But then again, I suppose it depends on the shade of
purple – seems good on Deeptima though and in the swatches also.

about the brushes u used fr it..its really difficult to find fine bristled brushes

GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE UR EYES! :-* :heart: and you know what! i had done the
same combo few days ago just for practising..i am going to start my freelance
makeup services in january.. i will link the pics..tell me how it is..i would love
to know what you guys think..please let me know ur honest opinions coz i
need to know if i made any mistakes so that i can correct them and hopefully

thanQ so much rati..soooooo glad you liked it.. :blush: i did this look about a
month ago..i used ‘oriflame dual skin corrector in medium’ to prime my lids
and used streetwear kajal as a base for the purple eyeshadow..and the
eyeshadows i used are from some no brand palette which i bought from the
local fancy store.for cheeks i used a matte pink eyeshadow from another no
brand palette as a blush and used a bronzy brown eyeshadow to contour my
nose and cheek bone(it hardly shows up in those pics) and for lips i used
‘dusty rose’ lipliner from mary kay to line and fill my lips and again filled it
with a light brownish nude lipstick from lakme(dont know the number..it’s
gone)..thats it..
PS: im so sorry rati for posting the links to my pics without your permission.. i
was so excited that i forgot to ask you once before doing it..if you have any
objection please let me know and i’ll never do that again..

This tutorial teaches you to create smokey eye.
Smokey Eye prime your lids. Use primer over lid upto your brows.
Using MAC painterly Paint pot for this.
SMokey Eye Use primer on lower lash line. Then wash of loose
powder all over the lid. This blends eyeshadows easily for a good smokey eye look.
Search IMBB
Primer on lower lash line Pick shimmery-brown eyeshadows with a flat shader
blush. Use eyeshadow all over your lids.
Shimmery Chocolate Brown Colour on lids
With a pointy brush (MAC 219) apply the same eyeshadows on your lower lash line. This creates a diffused smokey effect.
Shimmery Chocolate Brown Colour on lower lash line Go towards the inner corner of the eyes. Apply kajal on your waterline. Go twice or thrice on
your waterline. We want it to look very smokey.
Lakme Kajal on waterline Smudge the kajal gently with your ring finger. This
will give a soft look to the eyes and would also prevent your kajal from smudging.
Smudge kajal with ring finger Now apply black liquid liner or gel liner on upper
lash line.
Gel LIner Keep the liner a little thick. Don’t worry about
perfect lining.
Liner on upper lash line Using a flat brush pick up black shadows Apply it on lower half of the eyelid. Go on top of your
liner and a little above it. Keep the concentration of eyeshadows more on the outer part of the eyelid. Apply more eyeshadows on the outer corner, if required. Your eyes have to look smokey so the colour should go from dark-black to diffused brownish-black..

With a blending brush blend the black eyeshadow inward and into the crease. Just as you would create an outer V.
Blend Pick up more black eye shadow and place it in the
outer corner. Keep the brush slanted. You are increasing the intensity of black in outer V of you eyelid.
More black eye shadow More black eye shadow into the crease. The eye shadows should looks something like this.
Dark black diffusing into the brown.
Smokey Eye If there are harsh eyeshadow edges, blend them out
with a clean fluffy brush. Pick black eyeshadow with a pencil brush.
Black eye shadow Use black eyeshadow on lower lash line. Leave inner
corner of the eye.
Black on lower lash line Pick highlight colour from Maybelline Chai Latte
Quad and apply it on brow bone area. Place your brush below your eye brow arch. Move
your brush left and right. Brush in your highlighter into the lid eyeshadows. This creates the smokey effect and blends the colours.
Highlight
Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara. Your eye look is almost there.
Apply Mascara Apply the same brown eyeshadow in inner corner of
your eye.
Touchup in the inner corner Voila! Brown black smokey eye.

Today, I did a super easy black smokey eye. Here's what it looked like:

Products used: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk (white base)
Mac kohl eyeliner (black) - similar hereEveryday Minerals eyeshadow in Bundled Up (white brow highlight) - similar hereRock & Republic eyeshadow in Fatalistic (black shadow)Rimmel Glam Eyes mascara in extra black (fav EVER!)

Golden Black Evening Look
Hello Lovely People!
Today I am going to do a Golden Black Look, great as a party and evening look
because Indians wear a lot of Gold Jewellery and the look seems to complement it!
Start with a CTM face and apply Under-eye Cream. Allow it to be absorbed by the
skin.
Apply Concealer under the eye. Here I am using MAC Select Moist cover Duo and
then use a primer all over the eye!
Apply Lakme Kajal as base on the lid leaving out the inner corner!
Using Golden Eyeliner from Loreal to apply it all over the lid!
Apply Gold Glitter from the Chambor Sea Shimmer Trio on the lid and apply Brown
eye shadow from the Chai Latte Quad in the crease!
Place Golden Eye Shadow on the inner corner of the eye and blend it outwards.
Apply Winged eyeliner using Loreal Eyeliner in Carbon Black leaving the inner corner
of the eye.
Run over with eyeliner Brown to soften it and then line two-third of the the lower
lashline with the same brown eyeshadow.
Apply the golden liner to the inner corner of the eye and then top it with golden
glitter. Also, apply Kajal to the waterline again leaving out the inner corner.
Using Maybelline EyeStudio pencil in Silver apply on the cheekbone, bridge of the
nose and brow bone and smudge it to highlight. Use very sparingly to avoid chalky
appearance. I have used a lot here to show position in the picture! Remember USE
SPARINGLY!

Use Revlon Toast of New York Blush on the apples of the cheek!
Curl Eyelashes, Apply Maybelline Colossal Mascara generously.

Actually it isnt a highlighter….its an eyeliner pencil…but i noticed on being
smudged i gives a nice sheen not chunky particle shine…..so i tried it and it
worked really well!

Thank you for the tip on using the maybelline eyeliner pencil in silver. you
have no idea how thrilled I am. almost dancing with
joy. :jiggy1: :jiggy1: :yahoo: :yahoo: I bought it to use it on my eyes
(duh! :whistle: ) and it made my eyes look kinda funny. i thought I was being
very smart and that it would open u my eyes and all. the highlighting is a neat
trick so this product will not go to the garbage bin and might actually get
used.
