Sleep is a fundamental behavior that occupies a third
of our lives. Although its purpose has largely remained
a mystery, sleep disorders and sleep deprivation have a
major impact on public health and great societal cost.
In this Mini Med School course we will discuss the latest
advances in our understanding of the function of sleep
and its role in physical and mental health.
