Journaling/ Self Reflection
After completing a drawing exercise or project, you will take some
time to reflect about your work by journaling in your sketchbook.
This helps identify areas you feel you are successful in and what
you can work on as an artist. Choice Drawings/Freedrawings
You will receive grades for completing freedrawings on your own
time.These are unstructured assignments to explore your personal
interests and new techniques. Brainstorming ideas To come up with
ideas, concepts, compositional layouts, etc. for your larger
drawings, use your sketchbook for rough draft or thumbnail
sketches. Make lists of ideas for projects. Personalize it! This
sketchbook is YOURS, so make it unique to YOU.
What subject matter do you like? Do you have inspirational quotes
or pictures pasted inside? Do you right down ideas for drawings

open to interpretation, as long as you present it with both drawing
