Mark A. Keller, a 20+-year Shell PipelineCompany employee passed away onMay 1, 2007, after a lengthy and hard-fought battle against kidney cancer.

Mark was born in Indiana and joinedShell Pipeline Company (SPLC)on May20,1985, in Zionsville, IN as a pipeliner.Mark's career spanned over 20 yearswith SPLC, much of which was in theControl Center.

The Mark A. Keller Charity BasketballTournament

Shell Pipeline Company's 3rd annualcharity basketball tournament was re-named and played on August 25, 2007,in honor of Mark. The money raised bythe tournament was donated to M.D.Anderson Cancer Research.

"It was certainly the most fun andexciting in the history of this event,"said Jill Derise, Control Center Manager.

Several games went into overtime,including the final game, which requiredtwo overtimes to declare a champion.

Other highlights included HarlemGlobetrotter Paul Gaffney teachingControl Center Operations ManagerDavid Scruggs how to "hip-hop" dancein the famous globetrotter circle.

Behind the strong play of Supply I

Scheduler Kevin Daniel, the "SOPUSSupply Houstonians," anchored byMotiva Distribution General ManagerTwigg Bohlen and coached by RevenueOptimization Analyst Earnesta Grace,captured the championship and wonthe coveted trophy in double overtimeagainst the new entry, "LubricantsSiubes." GOM Regional ManagerGreg,5mith's "GOM Hurricanes" wonthe consolation bracket by defeatingthe two-time defending championControl Center "Fear Dis". Individualawards were also presented as follows:

• Sportsmanship Award: Mike Yobe,Lubricants Innovations Manager

• Biggest Hack: Eric Greenlee,Supply Finance (Eric received anice hammer for his efforts.)

• Biggest Whiner: RashiBates,Benchmarking Lead (Rashiwaspresented a teething ring andspecial Pooh Bear "sippy" cup forhis award.)
