COVID 19 AND THE TEMPLE
The Covid 19 pandemic affected the whole world. Our temple has responded and continues to respond to
the adverse situation. Several changes have been made. Daily pujas have always been performed by our
venerable priests even during the height of the crisis. Most of the current Pujas are being conducted and
streamed simultaneously. We have been following the strict guidelines of the C.D.C. and the state of
Maryland. Most recently, Shree Krishna Janmasthami, Shree Ganesh Chathurthi and Shree Srinivasa
Kalyanam were performed in an elegant fashion. We thank each and everyone that made it
possible. We look forward to the festivals for the rest of the year and hope to get back to the normalcy
pretty soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people who have lost their lives and with the people who have been
suffering from serious consequences of this viral disease.
We are in the process of arranging for ON-LINE INTERACTIVE POOJAS. Details will be forthcoming.
Current Temple Hours are as follows.
Weekdays: 9 a.m. to 12 Noon and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Weekends 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. And 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Please attend the annual fundraising event on October 3rd, 2020. Purchase tickets early and be generous
with your donations. (See page 3, Flyer for details) Thank you
