Sevier County is rich in agriculture,

rangeland, forests, lakes, and other

natural resources. Conservation and

responsible management will ensure

the use and enjoyment for many more

generations to come.

Sevier County Conservation District was organized in 1944, to provide assistance to farmers, landowners, and others to conserve the soil and related natural resources.

Our Mission:Develop and implement programs to protect, conserve, utilize, and develop the soil, water, and natural resource of the state.

District Supervisors:Chad Anderson – RichfieldMichael Mills – MonroeAndrew Dahlsrud – SalinaDaryl Noyes – SalinaMike Roberts - Sigurd

Main Programs: ARDL – Agriculture Resource Development Loan. Low

interest loans for landowners to improve conservation. Rural Rehabilitation – Long term financing for rural

businesses or beginning farmers. ACES – Agriculture Certificate of Environmental

Stewardship. Water Quality – Partnership with the DEQ to coordinate

& protect Utah’s watersheds. Zone Office – Assist elected supervisors on technical,

educational, and conservation programs & practices.
