Last week we started looking at the 7 main Chakras in the
body, each with its own specific characteristics.
The seven Chkara’s also represent 7 levels of existence,
development or dimensionality.
We looked at the first Chakra, the Muladhara (Root
Chakra), which focuses on the physical survival and early
childhood, tribal, belonging, safety etc.

Take notes of what you find interesting, and
write it down on a large piece of paper.

Fear of pleasure, self denial
low energy, lacking creativity, feeling sluggish,
weak sex drive, fitting in with people, finding it hard to say YES to being
your authentic self.
Overactive:
May be over-emotional, creating/ seeking dramas,
overly dependent and attached to other people, demanding,
sexual addiction
Balanced: Easy self expression, connected to and honour your emotions
self confidence, feel able to deal with life
Open to intimacy

Element: Fire, converts food into energy for the
body.
In Balance: Power centre of the body; Will
power. Personal courage, to do what makes
you happy. Disengaging from external
responsibility and nurturing yourself. Courage
to express your authentic individuality.
Therefore allowing others to be themselves.

Manipura Imbalances:
Underactive: self doubt, mistrust in others,
autopilot, depend on others for approval, not
getting things done
Overactive: rigid, stubborn, critical of others,
workaholic tendencies, perfectionist, putting off
life
Imbalance Symptoms: digestive problems,
ulcers, pancreas, liver, spleen, kidney
problems, hypo/ hyper glycemia
