STEP 1 : FEEL
When we looked around we feltthat there were lot of things whichwe could improve ourselves. Onesuch area was to clean up ourschool surrounding. We picked upsites where we needed to focusour attention and thus we madethe move.

STEP 2 : IMAGINE
• We thought of taking the initiativeto clean up the selected sitesourselves. Our steps involved
• 1. To look for volunteers.
• 2. To collect equipments.
• 3. Assign duties for collectinggarbage.
• 4. Look for dumping areas.

STEP 3 : DO
We decided to start from the areaoutside our school gate. A localconstruction company had dug up thearea to lay down underground cables.The roads were badly damaged withpot holes all over which worsened dueto rain. This was potential hazardousareas for accidents. Hence we decidedto fill up the pot holes.

STEP 3 : DO
The next task was to clean up the areabetween the school boundary and theback side of the office building. Theconstruction workers had dumped allpossible garbage without anyonetaking notice of the same. We decidedto clean up that area.

When the going gets tough andpeople at hand are few then there isalways someone who comesforward to make the task at handlook easy. Such was the case whenwe started our work with only six ofus, when the whole of class IX joinedhands to help us complete the task .
