Did you know?? KYC is for your Business Improvement!!!!!!!
Yes. Do not be surprised. Knowing Your Customer enhances the business opportunities for you, your branch, for ShriramCity and the Shriram Group.
Read further to know how. Common understanding of KYC
ID proof Address proof Photograph Very important for all files Do not process any file without KYC Why? Because RBI requires all NBFCs to follow that
Is this not the common understanding of KYC among many of us??? How deep is our customer‘s pocket? Let‘s try to understand a little more about some of our TW customers
Most of them would most probably be owning a business / a self-employed individual With a little finance to bridge their working capital gap, some of them may probably double their
turnover A short term loan could win a lucrative business contract A MSME customer may want to insure his plant and machinery Almost all of them would have taken at least 1 insurance policy through his next door LIC agent Some of them would have bought a flat with a loan from a finance company They may want to mortgage their property for raising finance On the domestic front, to tide over temporary cash flow crunch, they may be approaching money
lenders by pledging the household gold ornaments You may notice that we would be able to fit in any / all of our products to such customers whom we approach for just one of our products.
Spend time with your customer. Understand his life style.
Know his businesses. Appreciate his needs. Travel along with him.
Enhance his earning potential. The only way to know if our customers can give us all his business is to KNOW HIM WELL. KYC is not just a dictum from the Reserve Bank of India to protect the risks of finance business. It is actually the way to grow our business if understood and practiced in the spirit of the term.
That‘s exactly Know Your Customer!!!!!!!!!
Let us not just look at booking a loan as a transaction. We shall move towards building a life time relationship with our customers for mutual benefit.
