School uniform Pupils are ambassadors of the school and are expected to dress and behave in a way that

reflects the standards we seek to achieve. The uniform should be smart and worn in a

way that is appropriate for an environment dedicated to work and learning. All items

should be clearly marked.

Blazer Black blazer with School badge

Pullover Grey V-neck school pullover – School trim optional.

Shirt Winter white conventional style shirt with top button and col-

lar to take a tie

Summer short-sleeved pale blue blouse/shirt with school

badge on pocket may be worn.

Trousers Plain, dark grey – only available from school suppliers (jeans are not per-

mitted).

Skirt Pleated skirt of approximately knee length with school logo which must

be purchased from one of our approved suppliers.

Tie School tie to be neatly knotted at neck over top button and with 7 stripes

of 1 colour showing/clip-on tie.

Shoes All black sensible and serviceable school leather shoes providing protec-

tion in workshops and practical lessons. No boots, trainers or canvas

plimsolls. Shoes cannot have a brand name or logo e.g. Nike.

Socks Plain opaque black tights or black, grey or white ankle socks. Over the

knee socks and knee high socks are not permitted.

Coat Outer coats should be plain dark coat without motifs or logos in a style

suitable for school. Hooded sweatshirts are not to be worn.

Scarf School colours or plain dark colour

Bag A strong rucksack or holdall. A separate bag may be required for Physical

Education equipment.

Jewellery No jewellery or other piercings are permitted.

Hair Hair should be of a reasonable length and style (not below “number 1”).

Severe or cult styles are not permitted.

Make-up Make up is not acceptable in KS3 and should be discreet in KS4. Nail var-

nish/false nails and fake tan are not permitted.
