YourExcellency,PrimeMinisterofNepalandChairpersonofSAARC,Excellencies,HeadsofStatesofSAARCMemberStates,HeadsoftheObserverDelegations,DistinguishedSecretaryGeneral,Excellencies,LadiesandGentlemen,Itisamatterofgreatprivilegeandhonourformetoexpress,onbehalfofallthememberdelegationsparticipatinginthisfruitful18thSAARCSummit,oursincerethanksandcongratulationstoyou,Mr.PrimeMinisterandtotheGovernmentandfriendlypeopleofNepal,fortheoverwhelmingwelcomeandgeneroushospitalityextendedtous,duringourstayinNepal.IwouldalsoliketocommendNepalforassumingtheChairmanshipofSAARC.Mr.Chairman,The18thSAARCSummithasreaffirmedourresolvetocreateaninclusive,justandequitablepartnershipforpeace,developmentandprosperityundertheplatformofSAARC.Wemustadoptarealistic,pragmaticandstepbystepapproachtowardssolutionofissueswhichwillopenupnewchannelsofcooperation.Mr.Chairman,IwouldliketocongratulateourForeignMinisters,ForeignSecretariesandotherofficials,whohavesoefficientlysetthestageforthesuccessfulconclusionofthisimportantSummit.LetmealsoconveyoursincereappreciationtotheSAARCSecretaryGeneralandhiscapableteamfortheexcellentworkdonebythem,tomakethisSummitasuccess.WearealsogratefultotheSAARCObserverDelegationsfromimportantpartnercountriesforparticipationintheSummit.Weappreciatetheircommitmenttoourregion.Finally,IwouldonceagaintakethisopportunitytocollectivelyexpressoursinceregratitudetothePrimeMinisterofNepal,GovernmentofNepalandthepeopleofNepal,forextendingawarmwelcomeandmemorablehospitalitytoallofusinKathmandu.WelookforwardtowelcomingyouinIslamabad,forthe19thSAARCSummitin2016.Thankyou
