Wedding Photo Technology Takes

A couple recently had a drone take pictures of their wedding day. Some couples have been
taking more creative approaches to their wedding
albums by having drones take their wedding pictures before, during and after the ceremony.
In a recent article, CBS News talks about couple, Emily and Chad. Emily and Chad both grew up in a small town in Iowa and when they got
engaged they both knew they wanted their wedding
celebration to stand out.
They wanted to steer away from the traditional wedding
and instead do something interesting and unique for their special day. That was when the couple hired Dale Stierman as their wedding
photographer.
The couple had been doing some research on Facebook
and saw a wedding shoot that he had done. When they hired him they wanted to
make sure that they had the same thing at their wedding.
Dale is actually one of the first wedding photographers
that is using a drone to capture pictures at weddings.
He claims that brides love the pictures that can’t be
captured any other way other than with a drone. However,
according to Dale, many people have negative
feelings when it comes to drones because of what they
hear in the news.
In order to make people feel more comfortable, they have started using the term “quad-
copter” rather than drone. Dale goes on to say that he
enjoys using the drone to take pictures because he is able to capture different angles and
lighting with the drone that he wouldn’t be able to with a
regular camera.
With drone technology- the bride will be able to have
“something old and something new.” The couple always
imagined a traditional church wedding with all of their
family and friends, but never imagined that a drone would be there taking pictures of
them getting married.
