Conclusions /Summary• Advantages of OER:
– Use of new technologies – very convenient for adult learners, big help for teachers , if they have good ICT skills.
– No limitation in time, place – good for working/ busy people
A need to create a culture for sharing – OER culture:• Beating the fear of peer criticism• Ensuring QA• Lack of skills to create and use OER – need for training• Credit system for assesment of time invested in creating online materials• Need for good examples and practices• Acquisition of self-directed learning skills
