Comprehension questions.

A. Label vocabulary:

Nouns: Garbage trucks, garbage

can, recycle bin, newspaper,

bottles, tin cans, Recycle Center.

Verbs: recycle, put, go

Spatial Words: in, out, up

Concept Vocabulary: Same/Different

B. Receptive Language: Work on

comprehension of same/different

vocabulary items from the Peppa

movie. Next, have your child

respond to the Yes/No

Comprehension Questions. If they

have difficulties refer back to

particular parts of the episode with

them.

C. Expressive Language: Have

your child label the various

vocabulary items in the Peppa

episode while playing the match

game.

D. Intelligibility/articulation:

Vowel Consonant (VC) word

combinations to model and have

child repeat:” in, out, up, on, it”

Consonant Vowel (CV) words to

model/repeat: “go, see, do ”

Consonant Vowel Consonant

(CVC) words to model and repeat:

“take, put, pig, tin, can ”

When you model the above

words cue your child to look at

your mouth (“Watch me ”)

Talk to your child about recycling at

home. Show them the recycle bin/garbage

can. Talk about the items that go in each.

Have a spring clean-up in the yard and

talk about where to put the various items

you collect. Talk about keeping the Earth

clean.
