How to Use a Weather Map

• First thing you do when looking at a weather map such as this one is examining the key.

• Here is the key on page p. 54

The next thing to do is to ask yourself some questions.

• Where do I see sunny weather?

• Some cities have clouds over the sun but that is not on the key. What does that mean?

• Where is the compass on the map to help me with directions?
