GAGE FAMILY HISTORY CENTER will hi ye on loan a collection
of 240 genealogy cds. These CDs are p-oduced by some of the
top producers of Genealogical CDs. Maly of the CDs are
available on the Internet, but only to thase who buy premium
subscriptions to several online data bases. CDs loans like this
almost never happen to a family histor center.
Because the use of some of these cds i not intuitive, a daytime
class on use of the extensive compact risk collection will be
presented at the
*Richland* FHC at 1:00 p.m. o Tuesday, June 18.
Topics covered will include an overvirw of the collections the
type of information provided (indexes, extracted records. boo

GRS. Ancestry. etc.), and how to prirt/save the results. The
class will be held in the basement clas room at the Richland
FHC. No registration is necessary.lf y u would like to see a list
of the titles in this collection go to the following web site
<vx ww..rootcw ch corn/--wartH> Click cri CD ROMs. You will

states. You can expect to find on many of these CDs information
on more than one generation. PrimariLi Canada, USA (including
Acadian-Cajun & African American). Middle America,

NEED HELP
The books have been brought back to the Richland
family history center, and are back on the shelves, but
not in order. Some are even in adjacent state. It would
take a very long time for one person to put every thing
back in order, but not long if many help out. Can you
help put a shelf or two back in order? States are
shelved in alphabetical order, followed by general US
topics, & then foreign countries. Books (BK) are
shelved before Periodicals (PR).There is a separate
section for oversize books & another for US State
census. So if you can, stop by the RFHC put a shelf or
two in numerical order & then inform staff on duty
what was done, so that what is do x& what is left to
do can be tracked.Thank you!
