• No cultural management other than weeding
• Harvest: last wk of May/early June• Crop damaged by – Pre-monsoon rainfall in 2012-13
& 2013-14 rabi season prior to harvest
– Farmers’ could not established crops in 2014-15 due to rainfall in Jan and Feb 2015
