ROCKLEDGE,FL.,December14,2016–QwikProductsbyMainstreamEngineeringannouncestheintroductionofitspatentedandpatent-pendingfamilyofECMblowermotorreplacementboards:QwikSwapX1,X3,andV3.TheseboardscombinewithanystandardPSCmotorstobecomeasimple“plug-and-play”universalreplacementoptionforanyconstanttorqueorvariableairflowECMblowermotor.WithQwikSwap,technicianshaveanin-handsolutiontoreplaceanyblowermotor,includinghard-to-findECM2.0and2.3motors.AllthreeQwikSwapmodelswillbeondisplayinMainstreamEngineering’sboothNo.N7600atthe2017AHRExpo,January30toFebruary1inLasVegas.ThecompletelineofQwikSwapboardsprovidesan“onthetruck”solutionthatwillsavecontractorsbothtimeandmoney.Trulyplug-and-play,installationsimplyrequiresmovingtheplugsfromthemotorandconnectingthemtotheidenticalconnectionsontheQwikSwapboard,followedbywiringtheQwikSwapboardtoaPSCmotor.Installationisalsofoolproof,ifaplugisnotcompatible,itisaneasyindicationthattheincorrectboardisbeingused.Additionally,QwikSwapboardinstallationdoesnotrequireprogrammingoranywirestobecut.
QwikProducts’X1andX3versionscanbeusedtoreplaceanyconstanttorqueECMmotor,includingX13®andSelecTech®motors.UsingtheQwikSwapX3addstheenergysavingbenefitofvariableairflowbyallowingthePSCmotortooperateonhigh,mediumorlowspeeds.QwikSwapV3replacesanyvariableairflowblowermotor,includingECM2.0,2.3,2.5,3.0aswellasanyEmerson®,U.S.Motors®orNidec®ECMs,whencombinedwithastandardPSCmotor.QwikSwapV3allowsforthereplacementPSCmotortooperateoneitherhigh,mediumorlowspeeds,sotheoriginalvariableairflowcapabilityisretained.
