QUICKDR@W®
Creating a network that can manage future demands and take rollout problems in its stride can be a challenge. The Prysmian QUICKDR@W® by JCS Technologies has been specially designed for this, enabling low cost incremental installation of the final customer drop.
QUICKDR@W® is a fast and effective pre-connectorised system for FTTH connections in mid- and low-density areas.
QUICKDR@W® is a complete system for the last mile, FTTH and campus networks encompassing the pre-connectorised fibre cable lead-in assembly, connectorised lead-in joint, and installation equipment
With ruggedised cable leads, provided with connectors at each section end, the final connection to the customer is achieved by plugging directly into fibre management products within the external network and at the customer premises.
The “plug and play” approach means that the final connection to the customer is achieved without the need for highly skilled operators or expensive equipment.
The fastest, easiest solution for customer network connection
FEATURES • Direct fibre broadband connection
• Pre-connectorised bidirectional WDM link
• Easily installed through long ducts

QUICKDR@W® LEAD-IN ASSEMBLY (LIA) – MK3
The QUICKDR@W® Lead-in Assembly (LIA) MK3 is a pre-connectorised cable that provides the means of rapidly connecting a customer to the network. The assembly is for use with the QUICKDR@W® Customer Lead in Joint (CLJ) MK3. The assembly comprises a QUICKDR@W® Pulling Shroud, QUICKDR@W® Lead-in Seal and QUICKDR@W® cable for rapid installation of the customer connection.
The QUICKDR@W® Pulling Shroud is used to feed a cable through a length of duct. The shroud protects the fibre and connector during installation and provides easy assembly and quick access to the connector after the pulling operation. During this operation a swivel should be used between the LIA and the pulling rope.
The QUICKDR@W® Lead-in Seal is used to connect the LIA to the Connectorised Lead-in Joint (CLJ). A transport sleeve is used to protect the connector before installation into the CLJ.
Suitable for single-fibre applications, the QUICKDR@W® Lead-in Assembly MK3 comes with one SC/APC type connector at each end.
FEATURES • Ultra low friction nylon sheath
design
• Smooth, quick duct installation, even if already occupied
• Long hauling lengths to 300m
• Termite resistant
• Low cost connection by one semi-skilled installer
• ABS connector shroud prevents water and dust ingress to IP67
• Shroud cord attachment pulling eye
• Bend limiting rubber strain relief boot protects fibre during installation
• Easily dismantled unit allows quick post installation access
• High performance SC/APC terminations
