History of Operations ManagementThe history of Operations Management can be traced back to 5000 B.C when
Sumerian priests developed the process of recording inventories, loans, taxes and
business transactions, followed by 4000 B.C Egyptians in the process developed

Master in Business Administration or Post Graduate Diploma in Manage-
ment is a two-year full-time programme. An aspirant of MBA in Opera-

second year. To be eligible for admission to the course, the candidates

marks in aggregate. However, for entrance exams like XAT and MAT do not have
