Jetty & Boat RampDesign Notes

This design takes advantage of the existing jetty and extends it along the river bank to allow boats a place to tie-up temporarily. The expanded jetty will remain within the extents of the historical jetty.

To increase safety a second jetty is provided further downstream for swimming and tying up small paddle craft. This separates the motorised boat use from other uses for added safety.

The erosion along the bank needs evaluation and will require stabilisation works that are sensitive to the existing heritage elements. Native planting along the bank will help stabilise the bank as well.
