Only optimally coordinated and well-defined process parameters can guarantee efficient plant opera tion. EKATO offers a broad portfolio of engineering services to achieve optimal results. Design starts with an analysis of the process requirements, followed by laboratory-scale tests using state-of-the-art simulation and compu-tation methods (including CFD and Finite Element Analysis) and finally includes scale-up to production size.

Product range

The wide range of EKATO impellers is the perfect basis for optimizing mixing processes. Many impeller types are proprietary developments and can be adapted to extensive requirements with their modular design.

EKATO supplies customer and project specific agitators as well as complete reactors to process oriented industries for a variety of applications. In addition to the classical top-entry arrangement (Fig. 1), bottom entry agitators (Fig. 2), side-entry agitators (as used in Flue-Gas Desulfurization, Fig. 3) and complete reactors (Fig. 4) are available. EKATO can offer large agitators for bulk applications with motor powers in excess of 1,5 megawatt (Fig. 5).
