Clasificación de las singularidades aisladas
(i) Si la parte principal es cero, z = z0 se denomina singularidad evitable.
(ii) Si la parte principal contiene un número finito de términos, entonces z = z0 se denomina polo. Si el último coeficiente es bm, m 1, entonces decimos que es un polo de orden m. Un polo de orden 1 se llama polo simple.
(iii) Si la parte principal contiene infinitos términos, z = z0 se denomina singularidad esencial.
