O ur warmest greeting to the people of Ilocos Region as
we celebrate PSA’s 5th Anniversary with the resounding theme, “Healthy PSA, Happy PSA.” May this fruitful event inspire us to continue to provide seamless public service with a healthy body and a healthy mind. Health is of paramount importance yet, this is often neglected. We push our bodies beyond their capacities and simply ignore our bodies’ signals of pain and fatigue until they turn into more serious problems needing medical
Words of Gratitude
attention. Let us not forget that the body and mind are not separate...one will always affect the other so it is our duty to keep our body in good health in order to keep a clear and strong mind. No less than the National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, Lisa Grace S. Bersales, encourages us to practice and imbibe a healthy lifestyle along with her tagline, “Move. Connect. Embrace. Breathe.” Health is not just the absence of disease or infirmity but a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being.
As we embark the challenges of 2018, let us continue to strengthen our purpose of further developing our community through uplifting innovation and realizing PSA’s vision of becoming solid, responsive and world-class authority on quality statistics and civil registration. Now, we challenge you to work hard and live up PSA’s core values of transparency, adaptability and integrity. We assure you of my whole-hearted commitment to continuously endeavor to unite people with love, patriotism and fear of God. RSS01
