The JGI Constituent Institutes offer undergraduate, post-graduate level programmes in Engineering and Technology, Management and Nursing. At JGI, we
have adopted Outcome Based Education (OBE) Model for teaching learning in the constituent Institutes.
Teaching Learning ProcessAt JGI, each programme has its own Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) and Programme Outcomes(POs) that are derived after intensive internal
discussions with all the stakeholders. Subsequently, Course Outcomes are developed on the basis of programme outcomes. The course content and
assessment are based on the course learning outcomes. Each programme has mechanisms to ensure learning.
Continuous evaluation of teaching-learning process is followed at JGI. Efforts are made to measure cognitive as well as applied learning. Moreover,
students are provided feedback on their work with a view to improve their academic performance.
Though Curriculum and Course Upgradation is a continuous process at our affiliating universities yet we have our own mechanism of finding gaps
between curriculum and industrial requirement and so we have designed beyond syllabus activities (JIET Beyond Syllabus) to make students industry
ready. Also the Personality and Skill Development (PSD) courses and GATE classes are regularly run to develop general aptitude and technical aptitude of
the students. The Academic Mentors help the constituent Institutes to continuously upgrade the quality of the teaching-learning process through
feedback of stakeholders, faculty development programmes, seminars, workshops, STTPs, research, training, academic audit and quality assurance.

In recent years, ATMs are being stolen by robbers by means of gas cutters, uprooting machine or by damaging the machine. The solution of
this problem is found.
In this security system, there is a hidden gate which is at moderate distance from the original gate, temperature sensor & calling system. If any
person who intentionally wants to damage the machine or trying to uproot the machine or if he uses gas cutter or anything else to state the
money from ATM, the hidden gate get closed automatically and the thief will be trapped. Moreover a call is made to bank manager or nearest
police station within 30 seconds.
There is also a hidden switch to open that hidden gate. Only the authorized person can open that gate.
