Programs are the vehicle through which your organisation can effectively manage change and realise benefits that contribute towards strategic objectives.
This requires establishment and control of often complex relationships between projects, initiatives, benefit expectations and assumptions that can be challenging to structure into a clear program of work.
Benefit Management specialises in helping you define and establish programs.
We will work with you to determine what programs and projects will deliver your strategic objectives, and to develop pragmatic governance approaches that provide oversight and control of your investments’ performance and outcomes.
We use a design-based approach which produces clear visual references to focus
communication and understanding. This is done through identifying with you what is important to your business and where you want to go. We then work with you to map what is needed to get there and ensure the right work is in place at the right time, and that critical work dependencies and risks are understood, to ensure your program is managed to achieve your objectives.
Our approach expands on the principles of the MSP® (Managing Successful Programmes) framework and incorporates our own proven experience and methods to help our clients identify what program and projects will deliver the desired outcomes.
For more complex programs we can assist you by developing program lifecycles, drawing on decades of program consultancy experience to establish pragmaticsolutions for critical success factors including:
• Clear roles and responsibilities (including cross-functional and cross-divisional) across the program lifecycle
• Key program activities, including recommended check-points
• Ensuring the required business change strategy is in place to transition from program activities to business as usual activities
• Practical program governance and assurance approaches
• Establishment of effective program management tools including PMO establishment for your program or linkages to existing PMOs
