TOPICAL OUTLINE:
A. Pre-conference presentation
A minimum of six (6) documented hours of class content.
B. NDCA Midwinter Conference - Presentation sessions
Presenters will focus on professional counseling
issues in North Dakota – a minimum of ten (10) specific sessions
must be attended and documented.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
I. Attendance and active participation at the six-hour pre-conference
workshop and at least ten hours of content sessions of the NDCA Midwinter
Conference 2012.
II. Two papers: (Both are required)
A. Present a description of how you would utilize the materials
presented from the pre-conference presentation within your work. Also indicate
the intended outcome of your work and why these were outcomes you set as a
high priority. This paper should be professionally presented (APA style) citing at
least two current journal articles supporting your position. It is expected to be at
least five typed pages including references.
B. List the ten conference content sessions attended. Then present a
description of the learning that has taken place and the practical application of
some of the NDCA Conference content sessions you attended. This paper should
be presented in three to five typed pages.

April 1, 2012. Papers will not be accepted later than that date without prior
instructor’s approval.
EVALUATION:
The instructor will evaluate the assigned work and determine if it is of
high quality and deserving of a passing grade. If the student selects the letter
grade option, the grade will be determined by the instructor's evaluation of the
extent of quality presented in both of the written works.
***If a letter grade option is desired, the student
must clearly make that known to the instructor
when e-mailing in the assigned papers.***
Grading
A - All work illustrates the highest quality and exceeds expectations
B - All work illustrates good quality and meets minimum expectations
C - All work completed but doesn't illustrate fully satisfactory performance
F – Unsatisfactory or incomplete at time of due date
