Private, nonprofi t colleges and universities are included in this sec-
tion. Private schools are privately owned and operated and, in addi-
tion to tuition and fees charged to students, receive a major portion
of their funding from private donations.
All of the four-year private colleges and universities offer a bach-
elor’s degree, while some offer a certifi cate, associate, master’s
and/or doctoral degree program.
Some schools chose not to participate or did not return information
in time to be included in this edition of Affording Higher Educa-
tion.
