Advocacy
Launched the Study on National Quality Infrastructure and Government Regulatory Practices on May 23, 2013

• Ongoing development of Advocacy Agenda and Communications Plan on NQI
• Ongoing development of Information Education and Communication Materials to support the Philippine NQI advocacy

• Conceptualized and developed the National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) Basics Training

– Bureau of Product Standards (BPS)
– National Metrology Laboratory (NML)
– Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB)

Capacity- development
• Organized a training on Measurement Uncertainty (MU) for Microbiological Analysis attended by various PhilMSTQ member organizations on October 30, 2013

• Organized a seminar on Proficiency Testing based on ISO 17043 for the Food and Drug Administration of the Department of Health (FDA-DOH) on November 7, 2013

• Organized the distribution of Microbiological Proficiency Testing (PT) for food and water in April and September 2013.

• Hosted ASA volunteers from Germany to assist in PhilMSTQ activities
