COMMENTS FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
LEONARD A. ANDERSON - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Dear Patrons:
Thank you for your continued support of The Little Theatre On The Square. We are experimenting with more and different programming throughout the year and your attendance is what tells us if you approve of our efforts.
In April, we will be bringing T. Daniel Productions to our stage with their show MERLIN & THE COLOR OF
MAGIC. T. Daniel studied mime under the great Marcel Marceau and in this production he and his assistant, Laurie Willets, tell the story of the moment that Merlin must place the Sword into the Stone. Through the art of mime, with some magical effects added, they show us that true "powers" lie with- in each of us. A review of the show by THE POST-CRESCENT in Appleton, Wisconsin said, "There wasn't a squeak or a whimper or impatient shifting in a seat. If enchantment was the order of the day, "Merlin" had the audience under a spell as powerful as it was in the days when young Arthur withdrew the sword Excalibur from The Stone".
The show will play April 7, 8 and 9. It is a show for the entire family. Bring your children, grandchildren, and neighborhood friends. Make reser- vations now for what I am sure you will find to be a very enjoyable theatre experience.
M. SETH REINES - ARTISTIC DIRECTOR Seth is delighted to return to The Little Theatre for his 13th season as Artistic Director. He has directed over 350 productions for stage and television, including national tours of Sunday In The Park With George and South Pacific, working with such luminaries as Emily Loesser, Angela Lansbury, Chita Rivera, Oprah, Leslie Uggams, Jeny Herman, Tom Wopat and Peter Allen. Seth staged the world premieres of Monky Business, Magic Place and Body Parts; the American
rev~vals of The Red Mill and Knickerbocker Holiday; the American pre- miere of Anne Of Green Gables; and the Midwestern premiere of Closer Than Ever. He is one of the creators of the original musical Monky Business, which has now played in over 150 cities around the world. Seth recently received a San Francisco Critic Choice Drama - Logue Award as Best Director for American Musical Theatre's production of South Pacific.
