Welcome
Tårnby Main Library dates from 1982. After more than 25 years of use, and in the light of the major development having taken place in the library world and in society generally, the library was in need of extensive renovation and new decor. This work has been going on for some years and is now completed.
The principle of the new decor is to divide the library into “Adventure” and “Knowledge”.The more lively activities “Adventure” on the ground floor and a quieter area on the first floor “Knowledge” with the opportunity for absorption and concentration.
A separate meeting section facilitates meeting ac-tivities outside the library’s normal opening hours.
