LLC ‘SARATOVDIESELAPPARAT’
Year 1933. Plant foundation – a date when Saratov intersovkhoz tractor capital repair workshop was established.
Today LLC ‘Saratovdieselapparat’ is a modern, high-technology,
pneumatic-, hydraulics- and automotive parts plant, as well as a Russia’s leading producer of hydromechanical speed indirect-acting governors.
Gross floor area 20000 sq. m. Number of employees 250.
The company disposes with all necessary equipment for the following processes: Machining of steel, cast iron, alumin, aluminium alloys and plastic parts. Assembly of pneuimatic and hydraulic units with electric components. Sheet stamping, punching out and bending. Metal heat treating. Plastic and rubber moulding. Product testing, preservation and packaging.
Materials Machined: - steel, structural andalloy; - cast iron; - precision steel casting; - aluminum castings; - aluminum rolled products.

Gear - Processing and Tapping Group Gear-milling, gear-grinding and thread-grinding machines.
The following heat-treatment processes available: - Annealing, hardening andtempering of steel and cast iron parts in ovens. - Gas carburizingof steel parts in high furnaces. - Gas nitriding of steel partsin NC units.
Parts washing is being madein spray-washing machines, immersion-type andultrasound baths.

The company has an adequate engineering staff for design and follow-up of products: Design-Engineering Department, Processing Department andProduction Tooling Assembly Site.

The company purchases materials only from certified manufacturers that meet adequate quality standards.
A must process isacceptance test for materials and workpieces.
The plant has its own laboratory for the following purposes:•Alloy grade determinationand confirmation of quality certificates for materials.•Inwards tests for rubber pieces for oil-and-gas resistance.•Random inspection ofchemical andheat treatment processes (nitriding, carburizing)•Mechanical testing•Metallographic examination•Testing protective properties of coatings.•Compositional analysisof coolants, cleaning tanks, as well as test table oils.
The Plant Quality Management System is certified to GOST ISO 9001-2011 and GOST R ISO/TU 16949-2009 (ISO/TS 16949:2009), certificate No BP 02.1.7733-2014, valid until 26.06.2017 and issued by Autonomous Non-Commercial Body ‘Institute for Testing and Certification of Armaments and Military Materiel’ (Moscow).
The plant also has a Recognition Certificate for Manufacturer No 14.50684.130, issued byRussian Maritime Register (valid until 01.04.2019) and a Recognition Certificate for Manufacturer № 14353, issued by Russian River Register (valid until 24.11.2016).
Quality Control Department is responsible for all stages of product quality control: incoming material
control, in-process andfinal inspection.
The plant provides an end-to-end identification and customer-tailored shipment of products: - Product labeling - Product batch recording, on a shift basis - Product identification based on batch number - Tare and packaging used provide a product environmental protection and identification
After assembly and adjustment all products and parts are subject to bench running and tests, with full simulation, based on special programs and procedures.
Then the parts are being marked, sealed and packed.

Body parts made with cast ironand aluminum casting, with dimensions up to 300x300x300 mm,surface-to-surface accuracy up to 0.01-0.02 mm, accuracy of boring up to H7and precision of form up to 0.005 mm.
The following machining processes are available:
Cylindrical parts, up to 200 mm in diameter and 500 mm long,with accuracy in size up to H7-H6, roughness up to 0.32-0.16 mm and geometrical accuracy up to 0.002-0.005 mm.
Lever-shaped, yoke-shaped parts and other components for pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
