Needs/Wants/Preferences
needs for home improvements in lighting and utilities, anda preferably wide living room lack of furniture was also a problem, partly due to theavailability of space and narrow pathways
concrete structure is preferred, and of course preferably withthe completeness of a typical home if the housing would be medium rise, it is preferred to be onlyfour to six floors high
The residents are willing to pay Php 1000 to Php 1200 permonth as rental fee. They may also provide sweat equity during
the construction of the housing.
With regards to livelihood, a 'cooperative-run" retail storeseems fine for the interviewee but a solo means of livelihood is
still fares better.

What may still be needed
Since some mothers accompany the head of the family in earning aliving, a day care may be helpful to provide care for small children insteadof bringing them along. Better enough, the mothers may be introduced to
livelihood activities for income. A food related livelihood may be provided.
A basketball court may also be useful for the male adults and teens. Inaddition, it may act as a multi-purpose area for the community.
