Don't be a perfectionist. Perfection is a lie. If you want
to be better with your business, then you have to
dispel the thought of perfection or else it will get in the way for something better.
Be prepared for long hours. When you are a full-time employee, you are used to working for 8 hours. But when you are going to be an entrepreneur,
you need to embrace the long hours of working – without getting paid.
Prepare to wear multiple hats. When you are going to enter into the world of
business, you must prepare yourself to be the accountant, CEO and payroll manager. You must learn to multitask. Don’t worry, that’s only when you start the business.
Learn everything. When you are an entrepreneur, you have to learn what you don’t know and what other people says you don’t know. In other case, you have to learn every little detail about
your business.
Focus on your forte and stand out. After learning the necessary things for your business, you will also know what you’re best at. Focus on that and make
sure that you’ll stand out among the rest.
Hire exclusively. After you have established your company, you’ll be hiring people to make your dream possible. Now,
you have to be very careful of whom you’re going to take on board. Be careful
and wary of hiring your employees.
Turn mistakes into gold. We all fail. That’s a fact but need not
to dwell on your mistakes. Instead, make them as your footstool for a better future.
Know when to quit. When things are no longer working the way you have
envisioned it in the first place, then it is time to call it quits. When you become an entrepreneur, you should know when to
quit.
