Guidelines in the Condu&t o' the Quiz1. Each campus is entitled to three contestants composing a team who are bona fde

students o the campus. One ocial alternate will be allowed. However, it is requiredthat the three quizzers who shall compose the team during question 1 o !evel " shalfnish the quiz bowl. #he alternate will onl$ be allowed to ta%e over in case o anemergenc$. & team with onl$ two quizzers shall not be allowed to compete.'. #he quiz will start at e(actl$ ')** +. -uizzers and coaches are required to be at thevenue at 1)* + to register and submit their team/s questions.'. 0ontestants will answer the same set o questions in writing. eore a question isread, the contestant must raise their right hand. Each team will be provided with anillustration board, chal% and eraser.. #he contest has two rounds, !evel " and !evel "". "n !evel ", '* multiple choicequestions will be as%ed with a time limit o 1* seconds. Each correct answer is worth 1

point. "n the ne(t level, '* identifcation questions will be as%ed. However, two pointswill be assigned or ever$ correct answer and 12 seconds is the allotted time. &ll teamswill advance to !evel "".3. #he question will be read twice b$ the quizmaster. &ter the second reading, thequizmaster shall sa$ 4go5 6 onl$ then will the team be allowed to write the answer.&utomaticall$, the 1*7second or 127second time limit will begin with the word 4go5 b$ thequizmaster.2. &ter the time limit, a buzzer will sound8 the team should stop writing and raise theirright hand.9. #he proctors will go around and chec% the answer o the teams.:. &ter the '*th question in !evel "", the three teams getting the highest scores in !evel

Each correct answer inthe tie7brea%ing round is worth one point. #he team with a higher score ater the threequestions are read shall be declared the winner over the other team.>. #he dul$ registered teacher7coach o the team is the onl$ person authorized to ma%ea protest. &ll protests should be reerred to the oard o ?udges immediatel$ beore the-uizmaster reads the ne(t question.

Guidelines in the Preparation o' the Questions

1. Each team shall prepare two multiple choice questions or !evel " and twoidentifcation questions or !evel "". #he team shall also prepare three clincher<identifcation= questions should there be a tie. E(tra questions shall also be preparedor !evel " and !evel "" should there be protests with the submitted questions.'. @ates and A& or proclamation numbers are allowed in !evel " questions but not in!evel "".. -uestions shall onl$ be limited to +hilippine government, histor$, geograph$ andculture.
