HISTORY OF PERU The first inhabitants of Peru were
nomadic hunter-gatherers who lived in caves in Peru's coastal regions.
. The oldest site, Pikimachay cave, dates from 12,000 BC. Crops such as cotton, beans, squash and pepper chillis were planted around 4000 BC.
Between 1526-28, the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro explored Peru's coastal regions and, drawn by the riches of the Inca empire, returned to Spain to raise money and recruit men for another expedition to the country.
The next 200 years proved peaceful, with Lima becoming the major political.
GEOGRAPHY OF PERU Peru is located on west coast of South
America it borders are with Chile, Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador.
Peru is a tropical country but because it mostly stands on the Andean Plateau and Altiplano plateau so its climate is pretty cold so the only part that is tropical is the selva or the jungle
Peru is divided into three parts the costa, sierra, and the selva.
Also Peru is the fourth country with largest forest in the world.
The sierra or the mountain region which is located on the Andes mountain range the longest in the world.

The Airport in Peru is Miami International Airport.
Miami International Airport is one main terminal building with eight concourses (A - H) extending from it. Each serves several airlines and a large number of destinations.
And the most best airline is Star Peru.

of Peru is about 21,708 millions USD which have decrease from 2008, 29,982 millions USD.
And also in 2009 export of Peru is about 26,885 million USD, which have decrease from 2008, 31,529 millions USD.

The two red stripes mean the blood spilt for freedom.
The white stripe means peace. The Peruvian flag was adopted on February,
1825. Also the Peruvian flag is one of the oldest in
the world. The flag of Peru was designed by José de San
Martín who was an Argentinean.

of Peru is Lima. There are 25
provinces in Peru. It is located in
the valleys of the Chillón, Rímac and Lurín rivers.
With a population fast approaching 9 million, Lima is the fifth largest city in Latin America.

Peru has increased from 42% to 89%. Adult literacy rate (15 years and older) in
Peru is 87.9%. This is a major achievement for the country
as a whole but it does not reflect the situation in the Cuzco department, which is 18%.

GOVERNMENT OF PERU Peru is a presidential
representative democratic republic with a multi-party system.
Under the current constitution, the President is the head of state and government.
He or she is elected for five years and cannot seek immediate re-election.
The Peruvian government is directly elected, and voting is compulsory for all citizens aged 18 to 70.

is the Nuevo Sol (S/.).
One Nuevo Sol is broken down into 100 céntimos (cents). Banknotes
currently circulating include 200, 100, 50, 20 and 10 Nuevos Soles, while there are coins for 1, 2 and 5 Nuevos Soles and 50, 20, 10 and 5 cents.

its independence, the general José de San Martín began a public contest to select the National March, which was published on 7 August 1821.

generally divided up into three distinct areas; Costa (the coastal region to the West), Sierra (the Andean mountains and Eastern slopes) and Selva (the rainforests to the East).
