Background and Rationale
Project 9 was developed in 2012 and introduced in 2013 to address long term data trend that indicated that Year 9 students attitudes to school were very poor.
The overarching aim of Project 9 is to improve: student engagement student connectedness to school community awareness and engagement student learning outcomes

Our student data indicated that students attitudes are below state mean across most areas

Project 9 will run every Friday each week
Focus on 21st Century skills with real life applications
Curriculum content flows out into other subjects so attendance is crucial
Weekly agenda’s will be posted on the Year 9 office window by Wednesday each week
