Most chapters require: 2.75 GPA
Must have earned 12 Baylor hours
by the end of this semester
Most chapters require one recommendation letter.
Recommendations are due by November 1st.
Good places to start:
o parents’ friends/coworkers o former teacherso friends’ parentso church o Hometown Panhellenic (if you have one)
You will make selections, and so will the chapters.
Making selections means that you will rank your preferences, but you will never “cut” a chapter.
In other words, ranking a chapter does not guarantee that you won’t see them again.

She’s like your mom, but for recruitment!
Visit each of the 8 chapters for 30 minutes to learn about them!
Each chapter will perform their “Fall Party Songs.”
Afterward, you will select the 6 sororities that you would like to be invited back to in January.
Fall Parties are mandatory in order to join a sorority. (Baylor academic/athletic events are excusable.)
Wear: recruitment t-shirt & your choice of bottoms
You will visit UP TO 6 chapters for 45 minutes each.
Each chapter will showcase their service, social, and sisterhood through a slideshow.
Afterward, you will select the 4 sororities that you would like to be invited back to for Skit Day.
Wear: slacks/skirt with cute top
You will visit UP TO 4 chapters for 45 minutes each.
Each chapter will perform a skit for you!
Afterward, you will select the 2 sororities that you would like to be invited back to for Preference.
Wear: slacks/skirt with cute top
You will visit UP TO 2 chapters for 1 hour each.
This is a more serious, somber time with the chapters.
Afterward, you will rank the chapters that you visited.

No Written Communication
Includes Facebook wall posts, Twitter tags, cards, letters, etc.
Only permissible form of written communication is text messaging, but no mass texts.
No presents or other goodies can be exchanged between you and Greeks.
A sorority woman is NOT allowed in your dorm room, unless she is your legal sister.
There should never be more than 4 sorority women with one potential new member (excluding class, dining halls, etc.)
One person can NOT guarantee you will receive a bid to their sorority.(verbal bids)
If you are going to be absent from a formal recruitment event, you must email [email protected].
Keep an open mind! This is a mutual selection process.

Complete the entire registration form Can only be done once At the end, click “save and submit.” Once you save it, you cannot go back and change anything.
Payment Once you submit the form, you will be directed to the payment page Click finish - you will be re-directed to the Baylor Upay system You can ONLY pay by credit card If you don’t have a credit card have your parents give you their credit
card information including: - Card holder name- Card number- Security pin (on the back)- Expiration date
Once complete, you will receive 2 email confirmations:
1. Your recruitment registration2. Your credit card paymentPRINT BOTH!!!(Make sure to check your junk mail)
Bring printed confirmations to the Stacy Riddle Forum on Sept. 29 or 30th to complete your registration and pick up your shirt for Fall Parties. Your registration is not complete until you come to the Stacy Riddle Forum with your registration email, your receipt of payment, and pick up your shirt.
Do not alter your shirt in any way!
