THE REAL BRUCEBruce Guyton was arrestedfor stealing money out of thecash register at CheckersDrive In restaurant. Belowis the criminal case historyfor Guytons arrest for GrandTheft:
Guyton has always been a pathological liar. Nor surprisingly,Guyton even lied on his employment application for hiscurrent Palm Beach County job at the Palm Tran public busdepartment. Guyton explains, in his own handwriting, thathe quit working at Checkers Drive In restaurant because hedid not enjoy the fast food industry and that his leaving wasVOLUNTARY! Guyton signed his employment applicationattesting that all statements and information .given in thisapplication are true. The problem though, is that Guyton wasarrested for Grant Theft and red as an assistant manager atCheckers. Guyton lied when he checked the box YES, that heleft his job Voluntary. The taxpayers of Palm Beach Countyshould demand that the Country Administrator Bob Weismanenforce the terms of Guytons employment application andimmediately terminate Guyton, for cause.
Guyton has a history of manic behavior, withgrandiose delusions.
This type of delusional disorder is found in the majority ofpatients who suffer from bi-polar disorder, with a substantialportion of those having substance abuse disorders. Looking atGuytons violent public rants where he has physically threatenedme, it was not surprising that his sister had him involuntarilycommitted by the Palm Beach County Court for a mental healthand substance abuse evaluation. Guytons violent personality iswell documented, for example when he beat to a pulp Ms. DianaMosley. The authorities should make sure that Guyton is neverallowed to own a rearm, based on the evidence of his mental
illness and criminal history.

Guyton bounces a check on Any Times Checks, Inc. later declares bankruptcy in federal court.
The below lings, speak for themselves. These documents, recorded in the official records of Palm BeachCounty, are clear proof that Guyton does not have the maturity to make decisions involving millions oftaxpayers dollars, when he goes around bouncing checks for only $500. The taxpayers deserve a publicservant that is honest and will be accountable in spending their tax dollars in a scally responsible manner. The evidence is irrefutable, Guytons lack of integrity in his personal nancial dealings with vendors inthe community should have disqualied him from ever being considered as a credible candidate for theRiviera Beach City Council. If the voters were aware that Guyton handled his personal nancial affairs, inthe same responsible manner as a ve year old child, Guyton never would have passed the laugh test andwould not have been elected. Shame on those in the community who knew Guytons past, but for their
own personal nancial reasons, supported this deadbeat for office to push their agenda.
For example, why did the former South Bay City Manager Cory Alston, who was arrested on multiplecorruption charges and is awaiting trial, give Guyton $1000 for his election campaign? Alston is registeredas a lobbyist in Riviera Beach. What projects is Alston lobbying for, and how is Guyton voting on them? Time will tell if Guyton is once again playing his Pay to Play corruption game.

The Palm Beach Post laid it all out in black and white.
Guyton is the #1 political slimeball inPalm Beach County and a danger to thecommunity!
The Palm Beach Post did multiple investigations intoGuyton, and what they came up with during Guytonsrst stint as a Riviera Beach Council person is bothshocking and disgusting. Guyton gets off beatingthe crap out of defenseless women, uses illegal drugs, drives drunk and aunts his official office to havea dishonest Riviera Beach cop scurry him away sothat he will not be charged with DUI, accepts illegalbribes, and violates the Sunshine law for starters. Itmakes one shake their head in disbelief, that this totalslimeball was not locked up years ago? The editorialsand story below are directly from the Palm Beach Postweb archives and should have been required readingfor any voter in the last election.
Guyton and his psychotic legislative assistant, Ms.Sylvia Blue, have repeatedly threatened me withphysical violence. Ms. Blue has upped the ante, withrepeated death threats that she has made to me atCity hall and from the speakers podium. Ms. Blue evencame to the City marina when I lived on my oatinghome, and told me, screaming at the top of her lungs,
that I would be found dead under it.Anyone who has information about Guyton engagingin any recent instances of physical violence or publiccorruption, please email them to my attention. Alsoany information about Sylvia Blue would be greatlyappreciated. Thank you.

REPLACE BRUCE GUYTON
DATE:December 2, 1994PUBLICATION:The Palm Beach PostEDITION:FINALSECTION:OPINIONPAGE:14A
Rumor has it that Riviera Beach City Council memberBruce Guyton, who stands accused of drunken driving and bribery, has said he won't resign. Too bad. He's an embarrassment. But if he won't go voluntarily, city residents have another option. They can find a strong candidate and vote out Mr.Guyton in March.
To hear Mr.Guyton tell it, he is criticized because he is an activist, unafraid of making hard decisions. Such qualities alsorequire a willingness to accept responsibility, something he denies or glibly explains away. Since he was elected in 1991,Mr.Guyton has been at the center of deal-making that voted top city officials in and out of office. A charter change approvedlast month reduces the possibility of such capricious changes, but Mr.Guyton's penchant for self-serving votes has earnedthe city a reputation for irresponsible, unstable government. Politics as usual for Mr.Guyton includes his blatantorchestration of the appointment of Gerald Adams as city manager - before Mr. Adams and four other finalists had beeninterviewed.
In October came allegations that Mr.Guyton accepted bribes for his vote on a noise ordinance favorable to the Ocean'sEleven North club on Singer Island. Those charges are under investigation by the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office. After leaving that club, where he is said to have been given free drinks and other perks, Mr.Guyton was stopped onsuspicion of drunken driving in October. On Nov. 1, Mr.Guyton totaled his car and was charged with drunken driving. Policefound a marijuana cigarette and several butts in his car.
Singer Island wants to leave the city, a move that would devastate Riviera Beach. Secessionists looking for additionalevidence to justify de-annexation can find it in Mr.Guyton's presence on the council. In addition, a misguided vote may betaken to keep Riviera from contracting with a private garbage hauler, a move that would save residents money and one that

MR. GUYTON'S FRIENDS
DATE:February 18, 1996PUBLICATION:The Palm Beach PostEDITION:FINALSECTION:OPINIONPAGE:2F
The test of a police department is whether it applies the law equally. By that standard, Riviera Beach's departmenbe flunking.
On Jan. 19, at 1:21 a.m., officer Steve Maldonado spoke to Diana Mosley near her home. The 35-year-old womanhysterical, had bruises on one ear and blood on her face, shirt and legs. She said thatBruce Guyton, former city councilmemb er, had hit her. Mr. Maldonado and ano ther officer found Mr.Guyton - bloodstains on his clothes, bleeding from onehand - at Ms. Mosley's home. He refused to make a statement and was arrested. When officer Maldonado's superWilliam Cushing, took over at the police station, Mr.Guyton gave a written statement. He said Ms. Mosley tried to slap him,and he defended himself. Both Mr.Guyton and Ms. Mosley were listed as ``victim/suspect.''
Police Chief Jerry Poreba said the release was justified because Mr.Guyton and Ms. Mosley were not living together, werenot related by blood or marriage and did not have a child in common. By law, Mr.Guyton could not be charged with domesticviolence. Ms. Mosley refused to file other charges.
Her reluctance isn't surprising, considering the history between Mr.Guyton and the Riviera Beach department. On Sept. 8,1994, while he was serving on the council, Mr.Guyton was stopped at 2:30 a.m. by city police on suspicion of drunkendriving. Officers reported that his speech was slurred and he smelled of alcohol, but he refused to take a roadsidetest.
Instead, Mr.Guyton requested that a supervisor be called. Lt. Ralph Franklin came, escorted Mr.Guyton to the police stationand released him. Chief Poreba said he had no problem with the decision made by Lt. Franklin, a 20-year veteran

CORRECTION: CORRECTION, PUBLISHED Thursday, October 13, 1994: Because of a reporting error, a story publishedOct. 1 incorrectly identified Stuart Kaufman as the owner of Ocean's Eleven North nightclub on Singer Island. He is the
