Stem Cell Implantation
• The collection of bone marrow is done from the hip bone (iliac crest) of the patient by using a thin needle to mini-puncture the skin under local
anesthesia.
• The stem cells from the collected bone marrow are evaluated to measure their strength and vitality in our
government-approved (cGMP),ultramodern laboratory.
• Through the process of intrathecal administration or Lumbar puncture, the stem cells
are implanted onto the patient’s body.
Case Example(Pre Stem Cell treatment symptoms)
Name of Patient : Owen Cooke
•At age about 25 years, she crashed a hang glider and smashed her right ankle. The main damage was to the talus, which was shattered. she also damaged her back.
•Five years later, she had the upper ankle joints fused using some bone from her hip. Gradually walking became more difficult.
•Over the last 2 years, she never went through airports without crutches.
•Guy Cribb, a pro windsurfer, told her about stem-cell treatment for a knee problem. So, September 2010, as an alternative to amputation or totally fusing the ankle joints, she decided to try stem cell treatment.
"Overall, she was very, very pleased with the result so far.“
Post Stem Cells TreatmentName of Patient : Owen Cooke
• After treatment, she found her continuous pain was fully gone. At this stage, she had been using crutches full-time for the past 2 years.
• Now, just 10 weeks later, she don't need the crutches for any normal activity. She don't have the pain anymore and while she still have a poor foot, she feel that it is as good as it was before her accident 2 years ago.
• She don't know what the longer term benefit will be yet but she plan to try to get scans done to compare with the scans taken before treatment, to see if the cartilage in the ankle and foot is improving and re-growing.
• If the improvement continues, she will consider having more stem cells collected and frozen for later treatment.
• She is 61 years old and believe that the vitality of the stem cells will reduce as we get older.
