Earth • Alnitak: Super Giant, 800 light years, 10,000
times greater than the sun• Alnilam: Super Giant, 1000 light years,
18,000 times greater than the sun• Mintaka: Super Giant, 900 light years, 7,000
times greater than the sun

• The belt is often used as way to navigate other stars, and constellations.
