Thank you for worshipping with us today, whether in person or online. We hope you feel encouraged by our time together.
David and Michael are still looking for volunteers to help bring digital learning opportunities to the young ones in our congregation. There are many ways you can participate in this effort, and our ministers are eager to make the most of your talents! They will provide you with stories to read or simple lessons to teach. We would love to video you singing songs for our little ones to sing along at home. If you have ideas of your own, we would love to hear those, too. Please talk to Michael or David soon to volunteer.
Along with the new content for our young kids, we will also be providing “Monday Minutes” where Michael and David will discuss, in one minute, everything that is coming up that next week and how you can be involved. We are also planning “Thursday Thoughts” where David will give a brief devotional, sometimes related to our sermon that coming weekend.
It is important during this time of social distancing that we keep in touch with our church family. If you know of a need within our family, please take a few minutes to call, email, or text someone on our office staff and let us know how we can help.
"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct,
in love, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
Our final Jabberwacky of the summer will take place this week. Although this summer has been very different from our usual, we have found tremendous blessings for our teens to interact with other congregations in the area.
Many of you have generously and lovingly provided food for our teens during these events without even being asked. We appreciate the support and encouragement you are to our youth group!
“...I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12
“For this light momentary
affliction is preparing for us
an eternal weight
of glory beyond
all comparison.”
2 Corinthians 4:17
