From the President
Greetings to all of our wonderful members!!! We had a great luncheon this month with Martha Deeringer explaining why there is the ques-
tion of whether John Wilkes Booth was killed in a barn while on the run after assassinating President Lincoln or did he escape and move to
Texas! I hope to see you all next month as it will be filled with fun as the Plungetts entertain us.
Please consider bringing a gift for the women at the Family Abuse Center for their Christmas celebration. Socks, body lotion (full size), gloves,
scarves, things that let them know that somebody cares. They have asked that they not be wrapped.
I hope you are all taking advantage of the great opportunities offered by our SIG (special interest groups) in addition to our Luncheons. They
are a way to have fun and make new friends. Hope to get to know you all a little better soon.
